Barron County Retired Educators

Barron County Retired Educators' is a local unit of the Wisconsin Retired Educators Association. All retired educators living in Barron County are invited to become members of our unit. As a local unit we meet 5 times a year in various locations throughout the county of Barron. Annual BCREA Summer Picnic

The annual Barron County Retired Educator's Association picnic was held on Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at the Narrows Park in Rice Lake. A turn out of about 30 members/prospective members had a great time talking and enjoying the meal. Brats on the grill were provided and the pot luck of the dishes people brought were much enjoyed. No one went home hunger. Two recently retired educators were present at this picnic. They were Mary Hoeft and Joe Huftel, both running for office in this year's election.
