The BCREA met on November 1, 2012, at Faith Lutheran Church in Cameron, WI. Approximately 50 people were in attendance. A presentation was given on Farm Technology Days by Tim Jergenson and Demil Richter. There was one new member present - Agnes Ciolkosz.
A "hat" was passed for donations for school supplies. A report on the Fall WREA District I meeting was made by John Osterloth and Sandy Steiner.
The next meeting of the BCREA will be on January 17, 2013, at Bethany Lutheran Church in Rice Lake.
Barron County Retired Educators' is a local unit of the Wisconsin Retired Educators Association. All retired educators living in Barron County are invited to become members of our unit. As a local unit we meet 5 times a year in various locations throughout the county of Barron. The state organization - Wisconsin Retired Educators' Association(WREA) - currently has over 15,600 members. For information contact President Keith Kolpack at kolpackk@gmail.com.
